We met in April 2025 on a dating app — the modern-day love story complete with swipes and slightly awkward first messages. But it worked for us! From our very first conversation, we felt an easy, genuine connection, and it didn’t take long to realize this was something special. Rebecca knew early on that Jesse was her protector, her biggest cheerleader, and the guy who somehow does exactly what she asks without rolling his eyes. Jesse knew Rebecca was the person he wanted to laugh with, dream with, and occasionally steal snacks from.We didn’t waste time easing into the future. We talked about the kind of life we wanted to build, how many kids and pet we wanted to have, and even what our dream wedding could look like — all before a ring was involved. The proposal was simple, meaningful, and perfectly “us.” Jesse took Rebecca to an abandoned bridge in the woods — which sounds a little creepy, but is actually one of our favorite spots. Early in our relationship, we spent lots of time there talking about life, dreaming about our future, and debating the important things in life. This time, Jesse told Rebecca how much he loved her, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his forever. Rebecca, of course, said yes. Life with us is full of little adventures and inside jokes — spontaneous ice cream runs, playful debates over the “right” way to load the dishwasher, and our shared talent for getting lost even with GPS. Through it all, we laugh a lot, love deeply, and support each other every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with our favorite people and begin this next chapter together — full of laughter, love, and a lifetime of adventures.
