Flight
There are two airports that service Houston: William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). HOU is smaller, less busy, and closer to downtown - so we would recommend this airport if you have the choice. It is the hub for Southwest Airlines, but fewer airlines fly into it. IAH is slightly further from downtown but it offers more options for less expensive flights.
Hotel
The Hilton Americas-Houston is in Downtown Houston - a central location to fun things to do in Houston and down the street from our house. We have a courtesy block of limited rooms for $159/night on Friday and Saturday. If you plan to stay longer, just call the hotel after making your reservation and they should be able to extend your stay at the same rate! The rooms will be available at the courtesy rate until February 28, 2024. Please use this link to book (or click "View" below): https://book.passkey.com/go/PasslerJamaliradWedding The hotel is about a 45 minute drive from the wedding venue, but we will arrange for transportation from the hotel to the venue and back for guests traveling to Houston. The venue is in a Houston suburb without much to do, so we recommend staying downtown if you plan on exploring Houston at all. However, if you would like other recommendations for places to stay, feel free to reach out to us!
Shuttle
March 30, 2024 5:00 pm - 11:30 pm
For those traveling into Houston, we are providing a shuttle service to the venue and back. The shuttle will depart from the east side of the hotel on Aviendas De Las Americas street (the hotel entrance near the gift shop). It will depart promptly at 5:15 PM to be at the venue on time, so please be outside by 5:00 PM. You will have an option to RSVP for the shuttle when RSVPing for the wedding - this is important so we know the head count. If you’re not sure whether you’ll use the shuttle, just RSVP ‘yes’ but let us know you are unsure.
