We're Getting Married!

Jesse was the typical teenage boy who was "going out" with Mireya's friend and let's just say Mireya was not a fan. At that time... Fast forward 3 years and they are now in high school. Jesse finally realized how special Mireya really was and aggressively tried to get her attention. Even when she had no interest. After months of pursuing and never giving up, Jesse finally got his girl! He asked Mireya to be his girlfriend at the homecoming dance on November 3, 2012. Finally, Mireya accepted and the two have been together ever since! Jesse has always said, "I had to act quick and steal her heart first before it was too late." They continued to support each other through college, life, and their goals. In May of 2021, Jesse got a call that his dream of becoming a firefighter was coming true, and he was hired with Dallas Fire Department. He made the move to Texas with Mireya following him shortly after. In 2022, they purchased their first home together in Haslet, TX. February of 2023, Jesse had the opportunity to switch departments and work closer to home with Fort Worth Fire Department. In June of 2025, Jesse finally got down on one knee and proposed.
