Many of you may have heard this story, but we first met through Jackson Hallum, whom happens to be the boyfriend of the bride's younger sister (Sami). However, Jackson also happens to be a childhood friend of Jesse's, as well as his neighbor growing up. Jackson is quite the "matchmaker," and convinced Makenzie to join their annual tradition of skating during the holidays... And the rest is history! As time has passed, it's still one of our favorite memories and continues to be a holiday tradition.

While visiting MN for a few weeks over the summer, Jesse popped the question! To say I was surprised was a complete understatement... I had absolutely no idea! He is quite the planner and gathered both our families, grandparents, as well as a photographer, and still managed to keep it ALL hidden from me until the moment he went down on one knee. It was such a surreal and special moment I'll cherish forever. Cannot wait till the day we get to say "I do!," and are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you.
