We’re getting hitched!!

Jesse and I were introduced by a mutual friend who initially wanted to set us up on a blind date. We were both adamant that we didn’t want to be set up but I agreed to meet him while she and I were having a girls night. She said that she lost a bet and owed him dinner. We met that night at a bar and hung out until after midnight. Since that day, Jesse and I have been inseparable. I am thankful for our friend who played Cupid.

The night we met, we had gone out to a place just south of town that I had never been to. I called it “the rocks”. On our 3 year anniversary, Jesse took me there. As we were talking about the life we’ve built he said that only one thing was missing. From his coat pocket he pulled out the ring. I immediately hugged him and he asked if that meant yes. Me, being my awkward little self, said, “Well I won’t say no!!” On the drive back to town he told me all about how my mom helped pick the ring and my brother made a sign with the coordinates on it to hang in the house. It was such an amazing surprise and well kept secret.
