Honestly, Jesse and Kaylee never really believed in “happily ever afters” — but they like to think they’re living proof it exists. Funny enough, they’re both convinced they crossed paths and caught each other’s eye before they ever matched on Tinder. On September 22, 2020, they became a match — and from the very first conversation, something just clicked. They met in person the next day, and honestly, September 23rd changed everything for both of them (though, let’s be real, mostly for Jesse — he had no idea what he was signing up for!). When Kaylee showed up for their first date, Jesse opened the door and immediately said, “Damn, you’re short!” No “hi,” no “nice to meet you,” no “you’re pretty” — just that! And yet, Kaylee walked right in, tossed back a “Thanks, Captain Obvious,” and made herself at home. They stayed up all night watching Disney movies, laughing, and soaking in the kind of effortless connection you just can’t fake. From that moment on, they were inseparable.
