Flight
Newark is the closest airport (around an hour) to Spring Lake and Ocean Grove has the most transportation options! Next closest airport is Philadelphia, about a half hour farther (1.5 hours total) and only accessible by car.
Hotel
Update on 3/27: There are still 8 rooms available here! Call to book because they show up as already blocked on the website. We've reserved a block of rooms right in Ocean Grove! It's a beautiful ocean front hotel in an old victorian house close to all of our recommended activities. It has a 2 night minimum, so it’s perfect for those that can make it for the Friday welcome party! Call and mention our names to book.
Hotel
There are several other bed and breakfasts in Ocean Grove (and the surrounding area) that are wonderful places to stay and will be close to all the festivities! This is really an excellent option if you don't want to try to track down an Airbnb and still want to be close to the beach. Many require a 2 night minimum for booking, and they start taking bookings in January. The link below shows the different bed and breakfasts and their price ranges. We will be staying in Ocean Grove!
House Or Rental
There are several AirBnbs available in the area that are reasonably priced! Highly recommend them, especially if you can get a group together. We recommend staying as far north as Asbury Park and as far south as Spring Lake. Most of the things to do that we recommend are in Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, and Bradley Beach. The ceremony and reception is in Spring Lake and it's also a cute beach town.
Rental Car
It won't be peak season, so street parking should be relatively easy. For those that are driving or renting cars, the reception venue will have free valet parking, but not the church. Ubers are extremely common and easy to get.
Hotel
We've reserved a discounted wedding block here that's perfect for those guests looking to only stay for 1 night and want a full service hotel experience at an affordable rate. The Sheraton is lovely and close enough to still be accessible to all the events (~30 min from the reception). Please note that the discounted wedding block price is only applicable to the double queen rooms.
Train
NJ public transportation is great and there is a train station in Spring Lake, Asbury Park and Bradley Beach! We recommend using the trip planner on the njtransit website to figure out how to get there. Note that if you do take a train, you will need to do a transfer, but they are pretty easy to do.
