Our love story is truly our favorite story — sounds dramatic, right? But it’s our truth, and we’re so incredibly grateful to God for bringing us together. We met on Instagram on a beautiful day in March 2024. The timing was nothing short of divine — God’s perfect orchestration at work. Just a week after Jemima’s birthday, she was back home with her friends and sisters, who gathered around to bless her and reminded her to surrender all her desires to God. One of those desires had always been to find the right partner — someone to build a life with. Three days after that prayer, Jesse started liking Jemima’s photos and videos. At first, she didn’t think much of it, but something in her heart told her to like and follow him back. Funny enough, he hadn’t even pressed the follow button yet — but we can now say he had her in mind from the start. Not long after that, Jesse slid into Jemima’s DMs with a playful message: “What’s the best way to make cereal — milk first or cereal first?” He said, “Milk first, then cereal.” From that lighthearted moment, our journey began, and soon we realized that God had answered our prayers in the most unexpected way. As we continue to trust God with our journey leading up to our big day, we are beyond thankful for your support and for celebrating with us. Who could have imagined that God would use an online platform to bring two hearts together from completely different continents? Our story is truly a testament to His goodness and faithfulness.
