Jesse and I ave decided to postpone our wedding until the danger of COVID-19 has passed. We will be getting married in an intimate ceremony sometime soon out here in Saskatchewan. We still want to be able to celebrate with all our friends and family with the ceremony and reception we had originally been planning even if that is a year from now. We love you all and hope you will be able to join us in celebrations later on.
Izzy and Jesse met at Briercrest Bible College. They knew of each other through mutual friends but weren't friends themselves. In fact Jesse insisted that Izzy refused to get to know him and even ignored him when he tried to talk to her. At least that's his side of the story. Izzy just thought he was being friendly in passing and didn't know he wanted her to talk to him. In the fall of 2018 Jesse was the roommate of one of their mutual friends. Izzy began spending time at his house and the two started talking and they connected. Only a few weeks later on October 25, 2018 Jesse asked Izzy to officially be his girlfriend. Obviously she said yes. After spending Christmas with Izzy's family and a visit to Jesse's the two were engaged February 9th , 2019. Jesse proposed, kneeling in the snow, in the exact spot the couple plans to be married.
