Jesse and Itzayana met through a Christian App called United Young. One like quickly became calls that then turned into Facetimes and finally they met up in Houston, Texas. On February 4, 2023 Jesse flew to stay with his friend Jeff and Itzayana drove with a few friends for the in person meeting. The first year of dating began after the meeting in Houston; the couple would go to different cities in different states every month. By the second year of dating, it was time to take the relationship to the next step and Jesse moved to McAllen, Texas. After about 2 years in the same area, they got engaged on September 27, 2025. The couple has seen how God has been fully present in their relationship and the happy couple look forward to speaking with everyone to share their journey and welcome all friends and family to join them as they take this next step.
