What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. For men: Dress shirt and pants. Suit jackets and ties are optional. For women: Elegant dress or blouse and skirt. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers.

Where should we park for the wedding mass?

Answer

Park in the parking lot on the southeast corner of the Raymond-Chestnut intersection. The church is on the northwest corner of the same intersection.

How early should we arrive for the wedding mass?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early or by 11:50 AM.

What is the travel time from the church to the reception venue?

Answer

The travel time from St. Andrew's Church in Pasadena to the Hellenic Center in Lancaster is about a 1 hour drive.

When will food be served?

Answer

At around 5 PM, an hour after the start of the reception.

Should we eat before the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Since food will be served as an early dinner, we would recommend eating an early lunch before mass or grabbing a small snack after the mass is finished, around 1:30 PM. If you are Catholic and plan on receiving communion during the wedding mass, please observe the eucharistic fast: no eating or drinking (other than water and medicine) for one hour before communion.
