Though they cannot truly recall what show it was, that part really doesnt matter much. They had known each other for awhile at this point, a few hellos and brief chats. Emilie walked into the show that night with a few friends, Jesse was at the podium at the front door. Jesse was excited to see her and was very chatty, she looked at his eyes and saw something she hadnt seen before. Watching him the majority of the evening realizing how attractive he was she got distracted and misplaced her car keys. Jesse offered to help find them and she gave him her number. Before leaving the Ready Room, Jesse found her keys, she told him to use her number anyway.
Though it took a week or so they made it to their first date, which consisted of Tacos on Cherokee, drinks and bowling at Pinup, and pool at Mangia! The date spanned about 10 hours, it was the most fun with someone Emilie had had in a very long time. Jesse made her laugh, he was silly, funny, smart and charming. They couldnt get enough of each other.
The plan was simple, get to the gates of Versailles at 9am. Emilie was taking her time getting ready, unknowing of the plan Jesse had for the day. They arrived at 9:20 AM, Jesse found a person to take some photographs of them at the gate. He told the man he was going to propose, but before he could use his signal Emilie started walking off! Uh oh.... ( sorry Jesse ) Jesse working to find another plan they walked through the palace and gardens, enjoying their day. They stopped for lunch and laughed and talked about their life together. 4 hours after Jesses initial proposal plan they reached the Grand Canal boat rentals. They got on a boat and Jesse paddled out, there was hardly anyone at Versailles that day it was magical. On that boat overlooking the palace and gardens Jesse asked Emilie to marry him. After a few “reallys, are you serious’s, stops” she said yes! Jesse did an amazing job in his proposal, they cannot wait to marry and spend their lives together.
