It all began in November 2016 at a Friendsgiving party in West Newbury, the first time Jesse and Cole remember meeting, brought together by mutual friends. Fast forward to the summer of 2017: Jesse was spending countless days on the Merrimack River aboard her houseboat, enjoying her last summer before heading off to college. One afternoon, Cole pulled up on a jet ski with Nick Vecchi. Jesse and her friend waved them down for a ride. They spent the day tubing on the Merrimack River and ended up at Plum Island, staying out until 2:00 AM. From that day on, something clicked. Back when Snapchat was the thing, Jesse and Cole started chatting from that summer day in July. Three weeks into college, after a few too many drinks, Jesse boldly told Cole that if he needed a prom date, she’d be a good one. That playful moment turned into daily texts and FaceTimes, and soon Jesse drove back home for their official first date, mini golf and a walk on Salisbury Beach. Not long after, Cole began making frequent trips to UMass Amherst to see her. On October 20, 2017, after one month of "officially talking," Cole made it official. From there, they navigated long-distance throughout college, building a relationship filled with adventures—ski trips, Florida getaways, Cole teaching Jesse how to play golf, anniversary celebrations, and countless memories. From working together at Haverhill Country Club in the Snack Shack to finally moving in together in December 2023, every chapter brought them closer. One of the most special moments came in October 2025, when Cole proposed on October 19th. Waiting for their annual anniversary trip, as Cole wanted to propose in Florida so Jesse's Grandma could see and celebrate with them. It only feels right that they’ll celebrate their wedding during this same week in October. Just two days shy of nine incredible years together. Through every twist and turn over nine years, they’ve grown together, laughing through late-night drives, supporting each other’s dreams, and creating a life filled with love. Now, they can’t wait to start the next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who have been part of their journey from the very beginning.
