Jesse had been working at the Nick on Sunset studio in Hollywood as security for a few years. His good friend and boss at the studio, Cooper, had been asking him for some time when he was going to find that special someone. Jesse let him know that he had someone in mind and the next time she visited, he was going to ask her out. Flash forward a few weeks later and Cindy was visiting the studio again on an errand for her boss at the time. Upon seeing Cindy park, Jesse turned to Cooper and said, "Remember that girl I was talking about last week? She's here. Can you hold the fort for a moment?" Before waiting for a response, even though a line of cars was backing up into the street, Jesse dashed out of the booth to where Cindy was parked. He awkwardly asked if he could take her out to lunch some time. She said yes and after exchanging numbers, they had their first date a few days later at a ramen restaurant in Burbank on October 27th. The rest is history.
Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, Cindy grew up watching a ton of television and spending a bunch of time online. After graduating high school and a few years of struggling to get a job, plus some rather odd circumstances, she received a job offer she couldn't refuse - within weeks she packed up her little car and her two cats, Luna & Jerry, and set off to Los Angeles to be a personal assistant! Within a few months she met Jesse, and was thrilled when he asked her out...though it was only when he walked away after swapping numbers she realized that she didn't even know his name!
Near the anniversary of our first date in October, we went on a trip to Maui in Hawaii with some friends. While staying at a beach-side condo, Jesse asked Cindy if she would watch the sunset with him on the beach. Right as the sun was setting, Jesse dropped to one knee and proposed to Cindy. Cindy was so shocked she almost fell into the waves!
Cindy & Jesse can usually be found playing video games, watching something silly or thought-provoking on the Internet, reading, hanging out with friends, or doing something with their cats. They currently share their one-bedroom apartment with their 4 very loved (and spoiled) cats - Luna, Meelo, Annie, and Felix.
