Jesse and Christine met each other during their time at Georgetown University. They were both on the swim team and quickly got to know each other between the many hours spent at swim practice (often twice each day!), team dinners in the dining hall, studying together in the evenings, and swim team social events. Christine was a sophomore and Jesse was a freshman when they first met in August 2015, and over the course of the next year they became good friends. A year later, Jesse and Christine’s friendship continued to grow until they began dating for the rest of their time at Georgetown. The first few years after college were filled with many long distance phone calls and weekend trips to visit each other, as they navigated a long distance relationship between Boston/DC and Oklahoma/Chicago. This time was hard on us individually and as a couple, but the time spent together and our shared vision for the future made it that much sweeter when we were finally able to bridge the gap when Jesse moved to Chicago in the summer of 2022. Since then, we have been so grateful each and every day to get to spend every day with our partner, best friend, and fellow dog parent. We are so excited to be celebrating our love with all of our friends and family and are so grateful to all of the people who have supported us along this journey!
