We met at Passion Conference in Atlanta, which is a Christian conference for young adults. Miriam joked about meeting her spouse at Passion-- like many others did-- but her joke turned into reality. We reconnected at a YoungLife event in Tallahassee and started dating within two weeks! We became a long-distance couple after a few months together when Jesse left for Word of Life Bible Institute. We took it one day at a time, and we're so grateful we did.
