Our Invisible Line Theory

January. 21st | 2017 - July. 11th | 2026

Our Invisible Line Theory We didn’t know each other back in 2012, but somehow, there was this invisible thread quietly connecting us, a thread of fate gently weaving our stories together long before we’d ever spoken a word. That year, we both attended the same graduation. I have a photo of my brothers from that night and Cody appears just faintly in the background. I unknowingly watched Cody walk across that stage and at the dinner we sat just tables away from each other. Not long after, Jesse’s brother Josh invited Cody to his birthday party in Cardiff. It turns out I was there too, upstairs. Completely unaware that the guy downstairs would one day be my husband. The moment we actually met was set in motion by a mix of timing, music, and fate in 2017. We both had tickets to the same music festival, Soundwave. But as always, the universe added a twist. My maid of honor, Jocelyn, got sick the night before and couldn’t make it, leaving me with a decision: cancel the day, or go and try to find other friends who were already in the park. I chose to go. What I didn’t realize was that the friend group I was searching for included someone new. Someone important. Someone who’d been orbiting my world for years without us ever truly colliding. That someone was Cody. Looking back, it feels like we were always being gently pulled toward each other. Not rushed. Not forced. Just quietly guided by something we couldn’t see, a force that waited patiently until the timing was just right. Like I said… our little invisible line.
