Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We would like to offer this as an opportunity to take a kids-free vacation, but you are also welcome to bring your little ones!

Question

Mexico stomach bug?

Answer

We want everyone to stay happy and healthy on this trip. We have both had our fair share of Mexico stomach bugs, and it's not fun. Ali's strong medically-backed recommendation is to just not get it in the first place. :) This means drinking bottled water only and not getting ice in any soft drinks or margaritas. We also recommend brushing your teeth with bottled water. As far as food, eating at higher end restaurants is generally safer (not the random taco stand on the side of the road), and always cooked food only when eating at locations other than our hotel (let's be honest we'd all be happy to skip salads for a week). When dining and drinking at our hotel, the water and ice is filtered so you are free to have all the ice you want. We spent four days at the hotel and had essentially everything on the menu and completed our trip unscathed so if you must have your salad, Puerta Paraiso is a safe place to do it. Google also has a million more tips for you.

Question

Are there any safety concerns?

Answer

Jesse and Ali have been to the area multiple times and have had no issues. We do recommend that you not go off the beaten path, stay in groups, and be careful at night. Just don't do anything stupid.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Plus ones are indicated on save the dates, but please contact Ali or Jesse if you have further questions.

For all the days along the way
