It was November of 2016; Thanksgiving Eve was a big night out in Dover, Delaware. People were flocking to all the local bars and restaurants down town. Alex had just recently gotten back from a deployment and was going out with a friend. Jesse had just came back from New Jersey visiting her mom and decided to go out with some friends. They had talked in the past but it never went too far. Alex saw Jesse that night out and decided to message her the following day. It then all began. Jesse eventually went over to Alex’s house the following month, December. Jesse’s roommates, Marcelle and Shelby were stressed out and were screaming “text me and let me know you’re fine!”. Since that day Alex and Jesse couldn’t stay away from one another. A couple days after the new year he finally asked Jesse to be his girlfriend. A few months later Alex bought his first home and asked her to move in and make it their own! Later that year in October they PCS’d their lives to Ft. Bliss, Texas! Here’s the best part; May of 2018 Alex decided to finally asked Jesse to be his wife at the Grand Canyon, AND she said YES!
