Things to do

It's no secret: we LOVE Cleveland. We are so excited to show this city off to our friends + family for our wedding weekend. Here are some of our favorite things to eat, drink, + do in the area:

Il Rione

1303 W 65th St, Cleveland, OH 44102 | Gordon Square

The best pizza in CLE, where we had our first date, + where we go for all of life's celebrations — including our engagement! Put your name in and grab a pint of Guiness or a dirty martini at Stonemad across the street while you wait. The list moves fast.

Great Lakes Brewing

2516 Market Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

A staple Cleveland brewery. Be sure to check out the basement pub.

Cleveland Bagel

4201 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

The best bagel you will get your hands on. We reco an untoasted bagel with thyme black pepper horseradish or dill red onion cream cheeses, but it's virtually impossible to go wrong.

Jukebox

1404 W 29th St, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

Our no-fuss neighborhood watering hole.

Amba

1430 W 28th St, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

Incredible Indian-inspired cuisine across the street from our apartment. Dark + moody vibe with no windows — perfect for a cold night! Our go-to meal for two? Clay bread, chili crisp, herb raita, + chicken tikka w/ a bottle of Rioja. Though truly, there isn't a single miss on the menu.

Noble Beast Brewery

1470 Lakeside Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44114 | Downtown

Downtown's best beers + wings.

Heck's

2927 Bridge Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

A neighborhood gem featuring our favorite burger in CLE, the Rocky River Burger (mushrooms, bacon, sour cream, + cheese — trust us on this one!)

Litte Italy

Located 15 min from downtown

This neighborhood is our date-night staple. Start with a negroni at Cent Anni. For dinner, we love Valerios or Etna. Maxi's is our go-to for pizza or a post-dinner drink. Presti's is a must for dessert (get the Chinese cookie!) as well as a great breakfast spot. Mount Granita is also a fantastic option for a little something sweet.

Mitchell's Ice Cream

1867 W 25th St, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

Hate to break it to you, Dayton friends + fam, but it's better than Graeter's.

Rising Star Coffee

Locations in Downtown, Tremont, + Ohio City

The best cup of coffee in CLE. We're partial to 8 oz. Americanos, but they do quite literally everything really well. They also have local pastries.

Juneberry Table

3900 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113 | Ohio City

A cozy little spot to sit down for breakfast in Ohio City. Seating is super limited, so get there early or prepare to walk around the neighborhood (or the West Side Market) for a bit.

E. 4th Street

Downtown

A string-light lined strip of bars, restaurants, + shops. Butcher + the Brewer has great beers. Cordelia and Mabel's are both fantastic dinner options, though certainly not the lightest meals. Cleveland Clothing Company is ideal for souvenirs + CLE gear.

Astoria

5417 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 | Gordon Square

A fantastic Mediterranean-influenced restaurant. Perfect for brunch or dinner!

Cleveland Museum of Art

11150 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106 | University Circle

This is one of our favorite places to mill around on a rainy/snowy/chilly afternoon. The architecture is stunning — and best part: it's FREE!

Lake Erie

The North Coast

If you're in need of a water fix, we recommend the E. Ninth Pier (by the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame) which is within walking distance from the hotel or Edgewater Beach — about 3 miles away along Jess' staple running route.
