Where is the party?

Answer

The party is at our house! We’ll have a tent, seating, food, drinks, yard games, music, and dancing – come ready to celebrate! 🎉

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

No - there will NOT be a ceremony. We’ll already be married by then 😊 We're having a small, intimate ceremony in July at Grand Teton National Park with just our parents and siblings. The August 16th event is our celebration party—a chance to honor our marriage and celebrate with all of you, our favorite people. We can't wait to party with you!

When should I RSVP by?

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! Please come hungry. We’ll have catered food and desserts, but no formal sit-down meal. Expect delicious options that you can enjoy while mingling, playing yard games, or dancing! Food Timeline: 🧀 3:00 – Appetizers & “picky” foods will be out (Finger sandwiches, cheese platters, veggies, fruit, party pizza, chips & dip) 🍝 4:30/5:00 – Main dishes will be out (Portuguese & Italian favorites) 🧁 6:30/7:00 – Cupcakes & desserts will be out Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be available. Feel free to bring any drinks—alcoholic or not—that you especially love!

What should I wear to the Wedding Celebration party?

Answer

Dress code: Elevated Casual (Ladies: Kindly avoid wearing all white 😊) Think of it as a step up from your everyday look—sundresses (of any length), nice shorts, linen shirts, polo shirts, short-sleeve button-ups, and sandals all fit the vibe. It’ll likely be warm, so the most important thing is to dress comfortably! Planning to swim? Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel.

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available on our street and on our lawn. However, parking is limited, so we kindly ask that you carpool with friends or family if possible. Thank you in advance!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are absolutely welcome! We’d love to celebrate with your whole family. But if you’d prefer to make it a parents' night out, that’s perfectly fine too! We will have kid-friendly activities like bubbles, chalk, and games available. Feel free to bring any additional fun items for the little ones!

When should I arrive and leave?

Answer

The party starts at 3pm and will go into the late evening. You're welcome to come for the whole time or whatever length of time works for you/your family. Refer to the food timeline above if you’re interested in planning your arrival/departure around all the delicious food we will have! We will have plenty :)

Will the Celebration Party be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will be outdoors on a flat surface. We will have a tent, tables, and chairs set up for shade, as well as coverage in case of rain. There will also be fans and shaded areas to keep you comfortable, along with easily accessible restrooms.

Can I bring someone that didn't receive an invite?

Answer

Is there transportation available?

Answer

We won’t be providing group transportation for the celebration, so please plan to drive, carpool, or get dropped off/picked up. If you’re local, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be a convenient option!
