Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

No - There will not be a ceremony or formal dances. We’re already married 😊 We had an intimate ceremony on 7/13/25 in Jackson Hole with our parents and siblings. Our August 16th event is a celebration of our marriage with all of you, our favorite people. We can't wait to see you!

What should I wear to the Wedding Celebration party?

Answer

Dress Code: Elevated Casual (Ladies—please avoid wearing all white 😊) Think: a summer backyard party, not formal wedding. A step up from your everyday wear, but still comfortable. • Sundresses (any length), jumpsuits/rompers, nice shorts, linen shirts, polos, and short-sleeve button-ups are all perfect. • No need for a suit, heels or dress shoes—unless you love and feel comfortable in those! • It’ll likely be warm during the day, so dress for the weather. Staying into the evening? Bring a light layer—nights can get cooler! Planning to swim? Don’t forget your swimsuit and towel!

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

We’ll have catered food served buffet/grazing-style throughout the day — but no formal sit-down meal. Food will be set out in stages so you can eat, mingle, play yard games, dance and eat at your own pace. Food Timeline: 🧀 3:00–5:00: Appetizers & “picky” foods (Finger sandwiches, cheese platters, veggies, fruit, party pizza, chips & dip) 🍝 5:30: Main dishes (Portuguese & Italian favorites) 🧁 7:00: Cupcakes & desserts We’ll also have beer, wine, and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks available. If there’s something you especially love — alcoholic or not — feel free to bring your favorite drink & a cooler!

Where is the party?

Answer

The party is at our house! We’ll have a tent(s), seating, food, drinks, yard games, music, and dancing – come ready to celebrate! 🎉

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available along the street and on our lawn. That said, parking may be limited—carpooling is encouraged if you’re able to come with others. We thank you in advance!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are absolutely welcome! We’d love to celebrate with your whole family. But if you’d prefer to make it a parents' night out, that’s perfectly fine too! Our pool will be open for swimming and we will have kid-friendly activities like bubbles, chalk, and games available. Feel free to bring any additional fun items for the little ones!

When should I arrive and leave?

Answer

The party starts at 3pm and will go into the late evening. You're welcome to come for the whole time or any length of time that works for you/your family. Refer to the food timeline above if you’re interested in planning your arrival/departure around all the delicious food we will have! We will have plenty :)

Will the Celebration Party be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The celebration will be outdoors on a flat surface. We will have tents, tables, and chairs set up for shade, as well as coverage in case of rain. There will be accessible restrooms.

Should I bring anything?

Answer

You don’t need to bring anything—just yourself! That said, if there’s a specific alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage you prefer beyond what we’re providing (beer, wine, water, soda, and juice), you’re welcome to bring a cooler with your own drinks. We’ll have seating available under the tents, but if you’d like to bring a foldable/camp chair to relax in the sun, by the pool, or near the music/entertainment— feel free!

Can I bring someone that didn't receive an invite?

Due to space and planning, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. We appreciate your understanding. If you have any questions, feel free to text Jess directly at 774-219-9605.

Can we swim?

Answer

Yes! The pool will be open for the duration of the party. Important: If you’re bringing children, please supervise them at ALL times in/near the pool. If you cannot commit to 100% supervision, we kindly ask that you do not allow your child(ren) to swim.

Is there transportation available?

Answer

We won’t be providing group transportation for the celebration, so please plan to drive, carpool, or get dropped off/picked up. If you’re local, ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be a convenient option!
