In the fall of 2017, Zak was leading a group of new Jewish people in the city, and Jess was one of the group members. In the first meeting, Jess made the bold move of putting her name in Zak's phone as, "The Greatest Person You Will Ever Meet." To this day she swears that was not flirty, but we can let you be the judge. They remained friends for four years until Zak built up the courage to ask Jess out on a date--only, she didn’t know it was one. Zak and Jess proceeded to go out on an official date, and the rest is history. While Zak never changed Jess's contact in his phone, it took him a full six years to realize the truth of those words; we are all glad he eventually came around and proposed.
