May 25-27. Taste of Cincinnati features more than 50 restaurants and food trucks serving up delicious and delectable menu items. Taste of Cincinnati is also a music festival, with continuous live entertainment featuring local and national recording stars performing on multiple stages throughout the event.
The Cincinnati Zoo is one of Jess's favorite places to go. Tickets online go for $26 (Adults) and $21 (Child/Sr). Look for discounts on their website as well as through AAA (must order in advance as tickets will be sent through the mail).
The Cincinnati Museum Center was one of Jess's favorite field trip destinations as a child. Check out their website for the latest exhibits and prices. Don't forget to see what they are showing in their IMAX theater! They also offer AAA and military persons discounts at the box office to the Duke Energy Children's Museum (just make sure to show them your AAA card or military ID).

A good look behind the history of the underground railroad and the part Cincinnati played in this historical event. Tickets online go for $15.00 (Adults), $10.50 (Children 3-12), $13.00 (Seniors 60+) and FREE for children under 3.
Walk with the butterflies, through different showcases, with an amazing variety of more than 3,500 plant species from around the world! This is an awesome experience; like nothing you have ever seen before! Prices are $7.00 (Adults), $4.00 (5-17) and FREE for children 4 and under.

Newport is a fun go-to-spot for us. They have a variety of restaurants with an AMC theater all in walking distance.
If you want a perfect panoramic view of the city this is where you need to be. Caution: this is not for people who don't like heights or small spaces (just ask Jess). Open daily, check website for hours and availability. Prices are $4.00 (12yrs+), $2 (6-11) and FREE for ages 5 and under. CASH ONLY.

BBQ. Need I say more?! This is an awesome place to go for a Cincinnati staple. Zac ALWAYS gets the ribs and Jess prefers the pork chop. $$
One of the best views of the city from the West Side. You can sit inside or outside on their porch (this is what we recommend!). Good American restaurant. $$
