Question

What is the attire for each event?

Answer

Welcome Reception: "Beachy" Cocktail Attire (men - no shorts) (This will be at Village Deck - concrete event space, not lawn/beach) Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Cocktail Attire (Ceremony & Cocktail Hour will be on a rooftop terrace, Reception will be on the beach) All events will take place outdoors. The weather in November is usually in the 80s ☀️

Question

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

TRS Coral is an adults-only resort (18+). While we love your little ones, we appreciate your understanding and making arrangements to leave the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Immigration, Customs, and Cancun Airport Tips

Answer

• On the plane to Cancun you will be given a tourist card and a customs declaration form to fill out - you will need your passport handy. Keep these with you when you deplane. • Once you land, you will go through immigration where you will show your passport and the tourist card that you filled out on the plane. They will give you a portion of the tourist card back - DO NOT LOSE THIS as you will need it to leave Mexico. • The lines at Immigration can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 1.5+ hours, so plan accordingly when booking flights. • If checking a bag, you will be able to retrieve your luggage once you go through immigration. • After immigration + obtaining all your luggage, you'll need to go through customs (all bags go on the conveyor belt and get x-rayed). • EXITING THE AIRPORT: You will be stopped numerous times by someone trying to sell you something. They may tell you they're with your travel company or airline, or even claim to be government officials, but it's all a scam (DO NOT show them your passport if they ask). Just keep walking toward the exit doors, which is where you will pick up your designated shuttle.

Question

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK my ACCOMMODATIONS?

Answer

We have a limited number of rooms in our room block, so we suggest making your travel arrangements as soon as possible. November is peak wedding season in Cancun and hotel rooms can book up quickly, so the sooner we know if we need to try and add on more rooms, the better! Since all wedding events will take place at TRS Coral Hotel, guests need to stay at the hotel in order to attend.

Question

Can I stay at Grand Palladium Resort, or a different resort in Cancun instead?

Answer

No - all guests need to stay at TRS Coral Hotel in order to attend the wedding and events throughout the weekend. Although Grand Palladium is on the same grounds as TRS, guests staying at Grand Palladium cannot access TRS Hotel, even for the wedding.

Question

When do you recommend we arrive?

Answer

We strongly encourage all guests to arrive in time to attend our Welcome Reception on Thursday, October 31 at 6:00pm. However, we understand work schedules and other external factors may not allow for this, which is OK! If you are unable to arrive until Friday, Nov 1 (the day of our wedding) please travel with enough time to go through customs, shuttle to the hotel, and get ready. More details can be found on the "schedule" tab.
