FAQs

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate your understanding. Anyone not listed on your RSVP will not have a seat at the ceremony or reception due to limited space.

Question

Am I Allowed to bring my Child?

Answer

To keep to a certain guest count, we will be limiting children at the celebration. It will be clear on your invitation and RSVP selection whether your whole family has been invited. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope you can still join us for our special day. Please reach out to us directly with questions.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP by August 1st. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will be marked as "not attending".

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for our guests to get dressed up with us! In staying with our wedding theme, we kindly encourage our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Be mindful that both the ceremony and reception take place on grass.

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

Ceremony: 61 Filberg Rd. Comox, BC There is limited street parking at the Filberg Park (Filberg Rd./Comox Ave). We encourage all who are able to park at the Comox Mall, or get a ride to the ceremony. Reception: 2913 Muir Rd. Courtenay, BC This is Tyler's grandparents' house. There will be parking available. Please follow the signage and directions from the parking attendant.

Question

Will there be Alcohol/ Can I bring outside Alcohol to the reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring any outside alcohol to the wedding. We will be serving a single glass of champagne to each guest for a toast. There will be non-alcoholic refreshments available at the reception. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this.

Question

What will happen in the event of inclement weather?

Answer

This wedding will happen rain or shine! We will have tents at the ceremony if there is rain in the forecast. There will be tents set up at the reception as well. We cannot guarantee that all of our guests will be covered at both the ceremony and reception, so plan to bring rain jackets and umbrellas accordingly.
