We're getting married!

In the summer of 2018, I moved to NYC to attend graduate school that fall. I didn't know anyone in the city really. I was living there for about a month when I decided to download Hinge and give that a go. Jess and I instantly connected on topics like global travel and future aspirations, and I knew I wanted to meet her. When we began planning for a first date it was early in the week. Jess said that I would have to wait until after the upcoming weekend because she was...traveling. As a famously patient person, I suggested coffee before work, before she left for her trip, and she actually agreed! She was defenseless against my vivacious personality, effortless charisma, and endless vocal abilities, and the rest is history.

When we first connected I was about to leave for a short vacation. I wasn't expecting to make time to meet until after I returned, but Tyler asked to grab coffee so we could see each other before I left. I was surprised that he would so boldly ask me to wake up extra early, but anyone who knows Tyler knows once he gets an idea in his head there's no stopping him. I was intrigued, so I said yes. After our second date he walked me home and we spent an hour outside my apartment just talking. I didn't want the date to end, and I guess it never really did :)
