Our life together has definitely been a whirlwind. After meeting in late January of 2019 we quickly moved in together, learned we were expecting, and began planning our wedding. We powered through a short 3 week engagement before saying “I do” with a broken ankle & only our phones for pictures on November 19th 2019 at the Macaroni Grill with hopes that one day we’d be able to re-do the whole thing. Shortly after our nuptials we experienced the unexpected loss of our son, Tristan, early on in the 3rd trimester. It was a trying time that could’ve & almost did break us but we found ways to lean on each other to share the grief together. We spent the next few years pursing higher education, managing multiple chronic illnesses, & desperately trying to build the family we wanted so badly. Now we’re proud parents of 3 beautiful rainbow babies, a boy named Rhys, a boy named Archer, & a girl named Ellis. Over the years plans for our “dream wedding” fell to the wayside but we never gave up on the possibility of doing it all over again one day. Then came June 20th 2027, both Father’s Day & a birthday in our family. We spent the afternoon at the pool with the kids before going out to dinner just the two of us at Yosemite Ranch, the very same place the big question was popped the first time. We ate & drank & laughed & reminisced until once again a ring was presented & the big question was asked. This time around we’ve got the blessing of time on our side allowing us the opportunity to say “We still do” on our 10th wedding anniversary in an intimate ceremony on a cruise in Mexico with our closest family & friends.
