We're Getting Married!

Being that Robbie is from Florida and Jess is from Colorado, this is a question we get A LOT! We met at a bar while both of us were living in Syracuse, New York for work and hit it off right away! Both of us are engineers who played college sports while pursuing an engineering degree so conversation was easy and just kind of made sense. Within a matter of weeks, we were pretty much inseparable and were alternating driving 45 minutes to either Robbie's hotel or Jessie's apartment. After a few months of "just hanging out", we went on a trip down to New York City for a weekend and decided to make things official!

In one word, YELLOWSTONE!!! Robbie and Jess tagged along with Jessie's parents for a joint Father's Day and birthday trip in Yellowstone National Park and decided to add one more reason to celebrate to the weekend. While we were hiking on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Robbie picked out a clifftop location above a waterfall and to the utter shock and delight of both Jess and her mother (Mitch was in on it!), got down on one knee. A lot of ugly tears and a couple of glasses of champagne later, of course Jess said YES!
