Venue: Ex Hacienda Cruz de Cantera

Our wedding will take place at Ex Hacienda Cruz de Cantera. Former Hacienda Cruz de Cantera is the only location located in the center of the City of León (Centro), which is also considered historical heritage. Preserving the traditions of the old quarters, surrounded by the most beautiful churches and adorned with spaces that will take anyone's breath away. Its facilities are truly magical and will leave your guests speechless. Located on one of the main vehicular roads that connects the south with the north of the city, you will not have to leave the city. Flight

Guanajuato International Airport (Bajío International Airport - BJX)

Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) is located in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, near the city of León. From the airport, it is a $10-20 Uber ride to León, however, you must walk away from the airport to call an Uber from outside the airport parking lot. There are many taxis ready and waiting upon arrival at the airport, these may be closer to $15-20 for a ride into León. For our southwestern US guests, cheap direct tickets can usually be procured by flying out of Tijuana via the Cross Border Xpress. Other direct flights can be found out of Sacramento, Oakland, San Jose, Fresno, Los Angeles, Chicago, and American flies direct out of Dallas. Due to the small size of BJX, flights do not occur every day of the week from every airport. If you are having trouble finding direct flights this website has been helpful:

Tijuana International Airport

For our US guests, cheap direct flights can usually be procured by flying on Mexican airlines (like AeroMexico or Volaris) out of Tijuana via the Cross Border Xpress, a bridge that connects San Diego directly to the Tijuana airport. On the pedestrian bridge, you will go through immigration and customs, allowing you to fly domestic and avoid the hassle after the flight. This is how Jess and Richard usually travel. In the Tijuana airport, signs are in English, and some staff can speak English if needed. The flight process is the same as flying from a US airport and will be familiar. Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Leon

Located in the historic city center, this hotel is a short walk to museums, historic buildings and churches, and dozens if not hundreds of food options. It also has a nice complementary breakfast. Jess and I will be staying here. An 8 minute drive to the venue. We have a room block code: Jess0424. The code only works when booking by phone between 6:00 - 3:00 PST Monday - Friday. If looking for a luxurious stay, HS Hotson is an upscale 4 star hotel. A short distance from the Forum Cultural Guanajuato: a lovely park with the state's central library, art and history museum, theater, and a few gardens. An 8 minute drive to the venue.
