Most of the wedding activities will be held at Las Verandas, so we recommend staying on the property or nearby. We advise against staying at West Bay or West End during the Wedding weekend, as they are approximately 45 minutes away from the venue.
All visitors to the Bay Islands must present a passport valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Please plan accordingly. The official language of Roatan is Spanish/English, although French and Creole, are commonly spoken by locals.
The local currency unit is Lempira, but US dollars and credit cards are accepted. However, we do recommend carrying some cash. *Please notify your phone carrier, and bank that you will be traveling internationally in order to avoid foreign fees.

The Roatan airport is very small. Eat before heading to the airport, as not many food options are available.
Things you may consider packing: Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, Light, Breathable Clothing, Snorkeling Gear, Medications (Advil, Tylenol, Dramamine, Bandaids, Benadryl), Hat, Flip flops, Sunglasses, Water Shoes.
Important Reminder: Do not drink the tap water in Roatán. Stick to bottled water. Water served at the restaurant in Las Verandas is safe to drink.
