We’re getting married!

Ever since I met Nick I always told him that I wanted to go to the Grand Canyon. It was on my bucklist. So on our second anniversary as a couple we decided to take a trip to see the Grand Canyon. At that time I was also a few months pregnant with our son Henry. Being our first baby we decided to book an elaborate maternity photo session in Sedona, Arizona. I had no idea he was going to propose and one would think he would have done it at the Grand Canyon, but it was actually during the photoshoot that he asked me to marry him. It was absolutely perfect. I was standing on a cliff when the photographer asked me to look at the mountains and then she had me turn around and there was Nick on one knee holding up a ring. I can’t imagine any other way he could have proposed. It was amazing.
