The love story of Matt and Jess began in the middle of the 2020 COVID pandemic. Like most modern day romances, they reconnected via social media and things took off from there. Although Jess was nervous, she finally had the guts to go on a first date with Matt and of course—it went great or else we wouldn’t be here! Since dogs are such great judges of character, of course Jess had to make sure Matt could pass the next test with the “other man in her life”, Ryder! Sure enough Ryder approved right away and now Jess often jokes that she is the third wheel! A year later the three of them moved into their current home in Raleigh, NC together. Matt and Jess share a love of all things family & friends, travel, sports, and foodie things. The two of them have been lucky enough to have so many adventures already filled with amazing experiences, travel, and memories together. Several years later in February, Matt asked Jess to go on the biggest adventure yet… marriage! Of course, she said yes! The two of them are so excited and feel so lucky to get to share their next chapter with the people they love and hold closest.
