Jess and I were in a friend group at work that did a lot of things together (shoutout Keifer and Kaitlin!). We shared a common interest in the TV show "Psych" and spent time outside of the friend group watching and bonding over that. Feelings changed and we decided to give a relationship a try. And it's worked out pretty well for the both of us.

The first time I saw Marty he was holding a yardstick and frowning. I was intimidated, but I soon learned "Mr. Moore" is just a character he plays at school. Through a variety of circumstances at work, we became close friends and then something more. He is my best friend, my favorite partner in "Codenames", and God's greatest gift to me. So thanks, Liz Landis, for letting me teach ELA instead of Career Exploration. You're the reason we are here.
