Tis the season to be married!

Helena and Jesse met at a college retreat that both their respective churches were a part of. Jesse went to spend time with his best friend before he left for Uganda, and Helena went to spend time with her best friend before she left for Idaho. Neither would have guessed that during that retreat they would end up speaking with each other in the retreat's cozy little library, late into the early morning. Speaking of books, video games and what college would be like. After that, it was casually exchanging emails... then talking on IM... then meeting in person while they were both attending at the SRJC. They became very good friends and were for many years, until those feelings of friendship grew into something neither of them had ever felt for anyone else. First love. Through the woes of school, long distance relationships and their family homes being destroyed by fire; Jesse and Helena learned what it meant to help and support each other, and be an unshakable team, even through happiness and sorrow. At last! The time has come for them to be become a brand new family! And that is the story so far!
