There are 17 breweries in Bellingham. Stemma is probably up there as our favorite (try their Super Squeeze Seltzer), but be sure to check out Aslan Brewing, Structures Brewing, and Gruff Brewing!
Park with picnic facilities, a swimming beach on Lake Whatcom, an off-leash dog area & a playground.
Galbraith has some of the best mountain biking in Washington State and is only a short 10-minute drive from downtown. Local shops like Fanatik, Trek, Kona and Transition (nearest to the park) have bike rentals available. This trail system is great running and hiking as well!
Incredible views from Blanchard Mountain! About a 20 min drive to trailhead from chuckanut drive (~7 mile hike), or a 30 min drive to the Samish Overlook parking lot which gets you a bit higher for a shorter hike (4.7 miles).
Take a nice stroll around the lake - it's about a 3 mile loop.
Check out local vendors for food, clothes, artwork, and so much more. This is a fun way to see a little bit of everything this cute town has to offer. Every Saturday from 10am-2pm.
Fairhaven is the "historic downtown" of Bellingham (1 of the 2 main downtowns). Shopping, food, drinks, and a view of the bay! Some of our favorite spots are Galloways, The Black Cat, Harris Avenue Cafe, and Stonesthrow Brewery.
