Flight
To get to Sayulita, you'll fly into Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR) and hop in the car for a ~45 min drive. We recommend taking an Uber/Lyft into town. You can also hire a driver (this is recommended for larger groups or those traveling with kids), just make sure to book it ahead of time. At PVR airport: Right after you exit customs & immigration, there will be lot's of salespeople looking to offer tourists like you taxi rides, currency exchange, and etc. We recommend walking right on by and not making any purchases, you'll end up paying much more than you need to. Uber/Lyft: When calling an Uber/Lyft, set the pickup location as "arrivals - by the restaurant". Once outside of the airport, turn left and walk down the sidewalk to the end of the building. Turn left again and you'll see a pedestrian bridge. Use that to get to the other side & your driver will meet you there.
Hotel
We have organized a buyout of Hotel Ysuri and would love it if you stayed there! To be included in the room block, email the reservations department (reservaciones@ysuri.com) and tell them you're part of the Jess & Julian Wedding Group. There are 1 & 2 bedroom options, all of which have a 3-night minimum (April 30th - May 3). This hotel is one of our favorites in Sayulita; the views are incredible and the pool is the perfect hang out spot. Not to mention, it's conveniently located about a 10 minute walk away from the center of town and our wedding venue!
Hotel
We will coordinate individually with our guests who will be staying at La Esquina.
Travel Note
One of our favorite things about Sayulita is that it is extremely walkable. However if you're looking for a faster way to get around or want an option to rest your feet, golf carts are the way to go and the main form of transportation for Sayulita residents. You can rent one in Sayulita after you arrive (no need to do so in advance).
Travel Note
Passport: You will need a valid passport to travel to Mexico. Please make sure you give yourself time to renew or obtain a passport if needed. Pesos: While most places in Sayulita do accept credit card, we highly recommend that you bring pesos to Sayulita (it's the easiest way to pay for things like tacos and handmade goods that you'll find all over Sayulita). ATMs in Sayulita are somewhat limited, so we suggest getting some before you head into town. We usually use one of the ATM at the PVR airport.
