Where did that delicious coffee come from??
Answer
Messenger Coffee here in Kansas City! It’s the Finca Palestina variety from Guatemala. This is where we had our first in-person date!

How did you meet?
Answer
We met in a Bumble video chat…and talked for two hours. During the next (real, and in-person) date, we sipped coffee and chatted about deep topics and life stories. It was easy to see our hearts and minds connecting, all while I wore the pastry crumbs from my quickly devoured deliciousness. He barely touched his. We are both thinkers and dreamers. We like good food, great wine and experiencing more life, the most. Life has taught us how to live wholeheartedly, showing up fully as ourselves. We are grateful and in wonder at the second chance for deep love and a beautifully reimagined future. Throughout even our first months, we recognized the natural ease of what the universe had just handed us. Our children (Ivy, 10; Kensley, 13; and Brody, 15) became fast friends, and we continue to build a new family together that feels like home. We walked right into love and it’s been the most beautiful journey.

Regardless of vaccination status, because we care deeply for each of you, we ask that you wear your mask when indoors and not seated.
