We met online in early March 2018. On our first date on March 11, 2018 at Bar Elena in Washington, DC, Jess kicked Jose's butt at skeeball. We went bowling on our second date and Jess kicked his butt again. Jose knew pretty quickly that Jess could definitely keep up with him and would always make life surprising! We were basically attached at the hip from that moment on!

We went out for a run together at Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, MD (near our house). While taking a break in the rose garden, Jose knelt down and popped the question. Jess definitely said "YES" before he even finished asking!
