Tamarack Brewing Company
This local brewery provides a great selection of craft beer and fantastic food. There is outdoor seating as well for those who want to enjoy the mountain air! Located at the base of Blacktail Mountain in Lakeside. Perfect place to stop at after a hike or shopping.
Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse
Local Brewery that serves craft beer and pub food in Bigfork. There is a sports bar underneath that serves great deep dish pizzas. About a 15 min drive from Kenn and Donna's house.

The best place to breakfast in the valley. Try the orange juice!
Schafer's Restaurant
For those who want a finer dining experience (although it is still Montana Casual) - great food, wine, and service with a view of Flathead Lake.
Jewel Basin
A beautiful hiking network. Start from Camp Misery (at least in the summertime it is a happy place), and wind your way up the mountain side to Twin Lakes.
Two Medicine Campground
One of the most amazing campgrounds we have ever come across. It provides access to a range of hikes. You cannot book this site, it is first in first served so head in early in the day to take a spot. This site has showers, toilets, a general store, bears, etc.. just the usual.
Swan River Nature Trailhead
This is a hike you can do from downtown Bigfork. It is approximately 2.5 miles one way on a flat gravel trail. Beautiful views of the Swan Range and the Swan River. Fun Fact: this is where Jonno proposed to Jess! She cried a lot.
Whitefish Mountain (Big Mountain)
The locals here call it Big Mountain, but Whitefish Mountain also works! Take the ski lift up to the summit for lunch at the summit bar and check out that view! No hiking neccessary. They also have a zipline and a slide that zig zags down to the base camp lodge. For those interested, this is also a mountain bike park.

A great place for breakfast in Bigfork. When you finish, walk around Electric Avenue or make your way over to the Swan Lake Nature Trail and walk off those pancakes.

Red Bus Tour!
The Red Bus Tours are a must for those who only have a limited time to visit Glacier National Park. Take a ride on the original red buses of the parks if you want to see the legendary Going To The Sun Road that runs through the park. Along the way you get a chanch to look up at the mountains (as the buses remove their roofs), look down at the glacial valley floor, and see the wildlife of the park! Along the way, your driver will give you amazing information about the park including pop culture and geological information.
