What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
December is warm or hot almost everywhere in Australia. The temperatures in Melbourne in December are low of 55°F (13°C) and high up to 75°F (24°C)

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party and the immediate family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the reception hall by 6:00 pm where we will serve Cocktails and Canapés.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
St John's Anglican Church: Parking for all attending services at St John’s will be in the surrounding, and adjacent streets. There is unrestricted parking along both sides of Clendon Road. Parking is also available on Orrong Road, and on one side of Toorak Road (depending on the time of day). Carefully read and observe any parking signs before leaving your vehicle parked on Toorak Road as this road is a Clearway at peak times. Vogue Ballroom: There is secure parking for up to 120 cars located onsite at the Vogue Ballroom.

Yes, we can accommodate special diets however, kindly indicate your options when you RSVP.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #johannjessmarried so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
