Our story of how we met is nothing special. We met through mutual friends at Howl at the Moon in Boston and the rest is now history!

Jeremy had told Jess in January that he was taking her on a surprise weekend get away in February right after Valentines Day. Jess and her anxiety hate surprises, so Jess asked everyone under the sun where he was taking her. Her own family didn’t know where she was going because Jeremy knew she would harass them until they told her. The day comes and Jeremy and Jess drive very far until Jeremy finally tells Jess the plans. The original plan was to go to the Ice Castles in Lake George, but they had closed due to it not being cold enough outside (crazy, right!). So Jeremy improvised and drove past Lake George to Lake Placid. All this time, Jess assumed a proposal was coming because Jeremy told her make sure you get your nails done right before we leave (even though Jess already had an appointment). The funny thing is Jess isn’t your typical girl, she wasn’t searching around looking for the ring, rather couldn’t sleep worrying about where it was being kept safe this entire time. Turns out, it was in his car (oy vey). Anyways, lunch comes around and then Jess and Jeremy head down to the lake. Jess falls a few times on the way down given there are no stairs and it’s very ice, but that’s typical! Jeremy says “let’s record ourselves smiling and doing funny faces for some pictures.” Next thing you know, Jeremy is down on his knee begging Jess to marry him - just kidding - it was a very nice proposal. Needless to say there will not be sharing of the video due to embarrassment :).
