With the help of mutual friends, Harrison and I met in Charlottesville, VA while he was completing his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and I was working as a nurse. After meeting, we quickly became each other's best friend and through our many adventures, fell in love.

I proposed to Jess in the Jefferson Theater, where we had our first date at a Johnnyswim concert. I convinced her to go to the downtown mall to meet Davis for a drink. To her surprise, we walked into the lobby of the theater through a side door. Jess then realized that a Johnnyswim song was playing and that the theater was empty. After proposing on the second floor balcony, I took Jess downstairs where our families were waiting to celebrate with us.
