It all started because of a New Year's Resolution! I (Jess) like to make silly New Year's Resolutions (i.e: Go to a restaurant and order something other than chicken - yes, it's true and now I am marrying the owner of Kickin' Rooster). For the year 2019, I decided my resolution would be to meet more people. I went on Bumble and this handsome guy with a picture of a tiger appeared. We decided we would meet at the UGrille in Ship. "Perfect!" I thought to myself. "It'll be January 3rd and I can say I met my resolution and then be done for whole year! HA! Obviously, January 3rd became my favorite day ever because it was the day I met my future husband. On this date, he told me he could cook a better sandwich than Chick-fil-A. On our second date, he made me this sandwich. The rest is pretty much history. :)

A puppy and a ring! We were going to Erie to pick up our new puppy, Briggs. During this trip, Fil suggested we go to Presque Isle with Roxie and Briggs. We have been on two fishing trips to Erie and always stop at Presque Isle. Fil knew how much I love this place because of the sunsets! He suggested we take pictures at the one spots we like to go to. He set up his tripod, got down on one knee with Briggs in his one arm and the ring in his other hand! If you know me, you know this was the most perfect way to propose!
