Edgar and I met at Boulder Community Health during Covid in 2020. I had moved back to Westminster, Colorado from Scottsdale, Arizona because of the pandemic and was looking for a job. My mom, Tracy worked at BCH and she told me they were hiring. I started working there and had run into Edgar a couple to times. One day, I came into the hospital to go to a doctors appointment, I was running late and ran into Edgar. He asked me if I wanted some coffee but I heard do you want "Sunflower Coffee"? I said, what is sunflower coffee, and he repeated, no do you want some coffee. I couldn't understand what he was saying. He had a mask on and was soft spoken. I told him I was running late to an appointment and he asked if I wanted to get together some time. (That I understood clearly!). We exchanged numbers and he said he would contact me. About a week later we set up a date and time to meet at Mother Tucker Brewery where we drank beer and ate pizza and talked about life! We dated for 4 months and then broke up January 2021. The pandemic was an interesting time in our lives and their was lots going on. We knew what we wanted on our own, but didn't quite know how to share a life with each other. I didn't talk to Edgar for a little over a year. In March 2022 I kept having these feelings that I needed to contact him. I ignored those feelings over and over again until one day in March I was sitting on my couch and something or somebody said You need to call Edgar right now and I did. I swear God was telling me that it was time to let go of my emotions from our past, and trust the process and reach out to Edgar. We talked and I asked him to come to Arizona. He came to visit me for Easter and although we were nervous, we hit it off right away, back to the way it had been! It seemed like nothing had changed! I was still in love with him and he with me. I told him I was going to temporarily move back to Colorado for the summer and he said why don't you move to Colorado permanently? I did! Everything happened so fast but we are exactly where we want to be. We love each other beyond words, we love Emmy more than anything and we can't wait to start our lives as husband and wife. Thank you to everyone for all your support and love as we continue our adventure in life, love, and happiness! Jess & Edgar
