Dillon and I first connected online in March of 2021. We both share similar values and interests so I thought it was definitely worth it to give him a shot! When we talked on the phone for the first time, he actually told me he lives in Charlotte, NC. While unsure of how everything would play out, he texted me the next day saying that he decided to book a flight to meet me in person. I was both nervous and excited to meet him. Our first date was at a delicious sushi spot in Boca. Mizner Park became our little spot. Since then, we have been flying back and forth meeting each other’s family & friends and getting to know more about each other's hometown. We fell in love with each other in the process and we knew that we didn’t want to wait forever to get married.

Let’s just say, Dillon definitely surprised me! My younger sister, Vanessa, was coming to town and we planned to do a mini photoshoot for my older sister, Marina. Marina was pregnant at the time and we dressed up to go to Mizner Park to take some maternity pictures of her. We were walking towards the location and Marina directed me into a pathway filled with red roses. I actually thought it was for another person initially until I started walking and saw Dillon sitting at the park bench where he first asked me to be his girlfriend! This whole time I thought he was in Charlotte, but he surprised me by taking a little road trip to Florida to propose. I was so excited and very surprised, but it was a huge “YES” for me! It was such a special day! My family arrived and we celebrated at a restaurant that night. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Lake Wales!
