By Plane The closest major airport is Boston Logan International, which is approximately 140km from Chatham. There is also a small airport on the Cape in Hyannis (Barnstable Airport), about 30km from Chatham. Car rental, taxi/uber and bus services are available at both airports.

Getting to the Cape
By Car Driving is the easiest and most widely used transportation method to get to and around the Cape. However please note that traffic is often very heavy during peak weekend travel times, so plan accordingly. Booking a Car Booking a car can be quite difficult with the recent increase in demand! When looking for a car rental, please consider booking through a company that is not located at the Boston International Airport! There is much more available and for a more reasonable price in areas close to the airport like Medford, Everette, Revere etc., which are all places that are easy to UBER or taxi to.
