Which airport do you recommend I fly into?Which airport do you recommend I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport to Poughkeepsie is Westchester County Airport (HPN) which offers a variety of flights but often costs more and has fewer direct flight options. The next closest airports that typically have more direct options and reasonable rates include the following: Albany International Airport (ALB), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Regarding distance from the city of Poughkeepsie, HPN is 1 hour away and ALB, EWR, LGA and JFK are anywhere from 1.5-2 hours away, depending on route chosen and traffic conditions.

Answer

There is no shuttle or bus transportation to/from the hotels to the ceremony/reception. There is ample parking at both venues if you plan on driving but Uber, Lyft and taxis are wonderful options available in the area to get you to and from our venues!

Answer

Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church has ample parking in the front and back lots of the church (no charge); if it is full, street parking is available nearby. The Villa Borghese also has a large capacity parking lot (no charge) available for guests to park in.

Yes, children are welcome at both the Mass and reception.

In order for the 1:30pm Mass to begin on time, it is strongly encouraged for guests to arrive no later than 1:15pm at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. We are so looking forward to having you there!

Answer

We want our guests to be well fed and happy! Yes, there will be a variety of passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. Following cocktail hour, dinner will be served during the reception. All entrees are served with a chef's selection of vegetables and potatoes. Here are the details on each menu option: 1. Classic Filet Mignon: served with a port wine demi glaze. 2. Chicken Francaise: egg-battered chicken breast simmered in a lemon butter and chablis wine sauce. 3. Atlantic Salmon: finished in a lemon butter and chablis wine sauce. 4. Vegetable Lasagna (vegetarian option): layers of fresh lasagna sheets stuffed with garden fresh vegetables, ricotta cheese with a san marzano tomato sauce.
