Things To Do

Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park

25 Visitor Center Rd, Bar Harbor, ME 04609

Our favorite place to visit anytime we are in Maine. Great for everyone, whether you want to enjoy an easy walk on the carriage trails or some more strenuous hikes. Some other recommended activities include biking through the park, enjoying a popover at Jordan Pond House, taking in a lovely sunrise or sunset on Cadillac Mountain (reservation required if you drive up) or taking a dip in the freezing water at Sand beach.

Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor

Bar Harbor, ME

After a visit to the park make sure to stop in Bar Harbor. With tons of shops, boutiques and dining of all sorts you'll be sure to find something you like. For more activity based ideas, there are bike rental shops, go for Kayak or bike tours, or you could even go whale-watching. At low tide you can take the sand bar and walk out to Bar Island, just be sure not to get stuck out there when the tide comes in!
