Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would really appreciate everyone wears something dressy casual at the least! formal or semi-formal would be best, but This is not a black tie event. We would like to have everyone dressed their best. We will have a photographer on site, and would really appreciate guests wear their best attire and have lovely pictures with everyone. We also understand most of our family and friends aren’t the full formal type, so we will understand if you wear a decent pair of dress pants and a nice shirt! If you’re worried about what to wear you can always message one of us! Please NO blue jeans or tees! For the ladies, any kind of nice dress, two piece sets, or pants suits is fine, just again NO blue jeans and no tshirts.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes, of course. We will be bringing our two, and encourage anyone with kids to bring their own. Our only request is to please ensure your kids are dressed nicely and will be respectful! We will have activities planned for kids throughout the wedding day, we know kids get bored.

When should I RSVP by?

As soon as possible, we know the invites arrived late!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We do have a limited space capacity, so we would really appreciate you clearing any plus ones with us before hand. This does not apply to married couples, long term relationship couples or families with kids. But if you’re concerned, please message us!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are staying In the main wedding cabin, the vieux, and there are several cabins and rooms on the lodge onsite, through tanner manor. There are also a few nearby hotels/ cabins you can rent! We have lodging accommodations listed under our “travel” page.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know any food allergies so we can provide alternatives!!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not able to supply transportation, so please make sure you are able to get to and from your hotel/cabin and the venue!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry, and we would prefer our guests not have to worry about bringing a gift! We would just be happy to see all of our family and friends. We really do not need or expect any gifts, but If you do not want to show up empty handed we would love anything thoughtful. Handmade gifts, cards, a contribution to the bar, or honeymoon funds, or anything would always be appreciated!

Are phones allowed?

Answer

We ask that you please be mindful of your phones, stay out of the photographers way, and Keep phones on silent. But we are allowing phones, and you are encouraged to take photos or videos as you’d like. We will even have a qr code where you can share any photos you took during the wedding.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

We will provide dinner at the reception, as well as a bar you are welcome to visit at any time during the evening. We are not providing lunch, so if you come early please make sure you eat before coming so you’re not hungry! We will have a small grazing table but no formal lunch since ceremony is not until 3 :)

How late can we stay?

Answer

The venue has no curfew, but they do request there not be excessive noise after midnight. We do not mind you staying as late as you’d like.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

We are having an outdoor ceremony and the reception dinner will be served indoors. So this will be an indoor/outdoor event.
