Our story began in July of 2018 when we ended up in the same group at and Engineering Summer Camp at Utah State University. Fast forward a year later and we ran into each other at USU our Freshman year and hit it off! After a few months of casual dating (and a failed road-trip attempt to Iowa), Jess decided that she didn't want to get in a serious relationship her first year of college and broke Carter's heart. After staying in touch for a few years while they were at Utah State, Jess and Carter started hanging out more frequently in 2022. After months of Carter's determined questions of "Are we exclusive?", Jess finally decided to give their friendship a different title. After three years, we've been through long distance, graduation, a move to California, and new jobs, and are so excited to start this new chapter together!
